1950 Ford F-1 Custom in Loganville, GA

$59,900 1950 Ford F-1 Custom

This awesome 1950 F-1 custom truck is one of the nicest builds around. This truck was built by Don Lindfors of Altered Engineering in Orange County California and was a featured build in Custom Classic Trucks magazine. We have all 10 magazines that the truck was featured in showing the complete build process and all receipts and invoices. As you can see the truck is over restored and built to unimaginable standards. For starters, the chassis is a prototype F-1 TCI chassis built in collaboration with Don and TCI for the 48-52 F-1 trucks. The chassis consists of independent front suspension with tubular a-arms, power rack and pinion steering, power disc brakes with drilled rotors, air bags up front by AirRide Technologies, and a Currie 9" Ford rear end held in place with a set of custom leaf springs. The engine is a new 347 stroker built by Smeding Performance that produces a whopping 400hp and is backed by a C4 automatic transmission. The body is laser straight with a new bed and glass, running boards and fenders and covered in show quality paint. The rear tonnuea cover is power. The interior has been finished in a two tone leather and includes an Ididit tilt steering column, Lokar shifter, power windows, air conditioning, custom stereo, electric wipers, and Dolphin guages. Painless Wiring provided the wiring harness for the truck. The wheels are by American Racing and are 18's up front and 20's in the rear and wrapped in Nitto tires. The truck is an absolute amazing build from top to bottom and the workmanship is over the top. Not only does this truck have stunning eye appeal, it also drives as good as it looks. The truck is super tight and smooth with a very roomy and comfortable interior. Can't knock this truck for anything, no disappointments here.
